Financial Literacy

Studies show that disadvantaged youth tend to come from environments where effective money management skills are not acquired due to poor socio-economic conditions. Mpower seeks to create a foundation for underserved youth to build strong money habits early on and provide financial education lessons to communities that lack the necessary resources to achieve economic independence and success.

Mpower's Financial Literacy Program is our premier program. It's designed to close the financial literacy gap by offering free money management skills to underserved youth, individuals, and families so they can make informed decisions about their financial health. Some of the topics discussed include Savings, Budgeting, Credit, and Banking Basics.

Character Enrichment

Our Character Enrichment Program provides social and emotional enrichment activities that promote character building skills to help support the healthy development of underserved youth. Through the program activities, participants gain a better understanding of who they are and what they can do for improved self-management and personal development habits. Activities foster creativity, goal-setting, self-esteem building, decision-making, relationship building and leadership skills.

Community Engagement

Our Community Engagement Program is designed to encourage youth to maintain meaningful ties with their communities and engage in service projects that uplift others and foster goodwill. Participants will learn the value of giving back and engage in volunteer activities that help support those in need. This program seeks partnerships with other organizations and causes that are making a positive difference in the community.
