CHELLOIS CHINNERY

Chellois "Shelly" Chinnery is the Founder and Executive Director of Mpower Y.O.U. Through her various career and volunteer experiences in disadvantaged communities, Chellois was inspired to start Mpower Y.O.U. as a way to give back to our most vulnerable populations. Although she has always had a passion for helping others, her passion grew significantly over the years as she recognized a lack of resources available to underserved communities. Mpower is Chellois' way of helping close the resource gap and building up youth to carry on Mpower's mission and legacy.

Chellois is a proud graduate of both Texas Southern University and the University of Houston. She is also a graduate of the Fortbend's Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership Program. In her spare time, Chellois enjoys traveling, volunteering, and spending time with family.
